Almost two years after they first fought, Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois are about to meet again in a heavyweight title showdown at Wembley Stadium.
Both have had an eventful time since that bout, including a statement knockout win for home fighter Dubois against Anthony Joshua at England’s national stadium.
Unbeaten Ukrainian Usyk ended Tyson Fury’s undefeated record in Riyadh in May 2024 and returned to the same setting for a rematch in December, again recording a points victory.

Usyk vs Dubois 1: What happened in the first fight?
Usyk knocked Dubois out in the ninth round for the 21st win of his perfect 24-fight career in August 2023, but there was controversy in the fifth round in Wroclaw.
Dubois, who was outlanded in every round of the fight, hit Usyk with a shot that would have been a knockout had referee referee Luis Pabon not deemed it a low blow and given his opponent up to five minutes to recover.
Usyk took just under four minutes to continue. Dubois argues that he should have won and will now have a chance to prove he can punish the 2012 Olympic gold medalist, who has rarely been troubled during his rise to greatness.
