
Southampton and Wrexham have confirmed their starting line-ups for their opening Championship game of the season.
Both have returned to the second tier but from different directions, with the Saints dropping down from the Premier League and Wrexham back in the Championship for the first time since 2001. as they continue their rapid rise under Hollywood ownership.

Southampton begin a new era under manager Will Still as they look to put last season’s disastrous Premier League campaign behind them but plenty of players from that season remain.
Gavin Bazunu gets the nod over Alex McCarthy in goal following Aaron Ramsdale’s move to Newcastle, with Ronnie Edwards and Jack Stephens the centre-back pairing.
Eighteen-year-old Jay Steven Robinson and 21-year-old Nigel Quarshie start out wide with Adam Armstrong up front.

Wrexham confirmed line-up
Conor Coady starts for the Dragons following his move from Leicester to the Racecourse Ground, with Danny Ward also making his debut in goal.
They are spearheaded by another two familiar faces up front as Kieffer Moore also makes his debut following his move from Sheffield United, partnering Josh Windass following his departure from Sheffield Wednesday.
