Baltimore Ravens rookie cornerback Bilhal Kone will miss the entire 2025 season after tearing a ligament in his left knee during Thursday night’s 24-16 preseason win over the Indianapolis Colts, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed.
The injury occurred late in the first quarter while Kone was in coverage against Colts wide receiver Ashton Dulin along the left sideline.
On an incomplete pass into the end zone, Kone collapsed to the turf, clutching his left leg in visible pain.
Medical staff quickly attended to the sixth-round draft pick, placing his leg in an air cast before he was carted off the field.
Kone had been in the mix for one of the final roster spots at cornerback.
“Even seeing him in the locker room just now is really hard. Very hard,” Harbaugh said.
“But I told him the sun will come up tomorrow. You’ll get this taken care of. You’ll be rehabbing, you’re part of our team and you’ll be back. So it’s just not on the time that you hope for.”
Kone, who starred at Western Michigan last year, led his team with nine pass breakups and recorded 70 tackles along with one interception.
